Overview
LNK-1100USB series Fiber Media Converters is a 10/100M Ethernet Media Converter. It can convert
Optical－Electric 10M/100M Ethernet signals between UTP interface (TX) and optical fiber interface (FX).
It can extend traditional 10/100M fast Ethernet to the distance of 120km through optical fiber link.
The LNK-1100USB series Fiber Media Converters can be powered by a USB port (1.0, 1.1, and 2.0) or
external AC to DC power adapter. A USB Power Adaptor Cable is available, which reduces the module’s
weight and eliminates the need to tether the media converter to an electrical outlet.
The DIP Switch on the side panel is used to set working configurations for meeting the need of various
applications. LFP (Link Fault Pass-through) function for easily tracking the network link failure. It can
enhance the integrity and conformity of the TP-Fiber linking to improve the maintainability of the network.
Six LEDs indicated lights could fully monitor the working conditions of Converters. It is easy for end-users
to observe network operation and to judge its failure. LNK-1100USB series external power supply
Converters could be used alone, or inserted to 14 slots Converters Rack supplied.
